Abstract/Summary about the :A boy, who found himself caught in the grip of a devastating tempest with hardly any hope of survival, wakes up to realize that it was simply a nightmare. He moves outside the house to see that the reality of the environment is even worse than his dream. Humanity has already reached the point of no return where environmental degradation has resulted in widespread destruction. The boy realizes that his nightmare can be negated by waking up because it was simply a figment of his subconscious mind. But now in front of him was a stark reality which could not be reversed. As he mourns this painful reality his little teardrop replenishes a withered leaf. This little tear drop becomes symbolic of big hope. However alarming the situation may have become today, we can revive it through our selfless act. Thus, we simply need the realization to dawn upon us and we can all work towards a positive change. Though, the prognosis is bleak yet there is hope through self realization. Hence the title 'Ahsaas : The Self Realisation'. Comments from the film :CONCEPT : It started off with a concept, which is based on a dream in which a boy felt like he was dying, which is similar to 'A Christmas Carol' , and using the dream as the entire storyline we came up with this. MESSAGE: Everyone is today aware of the environmental degradation. Everyone puts the blame on the Governments for this also. The condition of earth today is because of human selfishness. We only looked at the comforts given to us by Technology, but ignored how it affected the life surrounding us. The role of Government Policies is less, but unless each one of us, realizes, How I had been degrading the Nature? We need to realise what is the effect of my actions on Environment? If realised today it would be good, else we will be crying like the boy in future for the un-repairable damage we would have caused till then.. THE CAUSE: SELFISHNESS... THE SOLUTION: SELF-REALISATION
