SPIRITUAL ASPECT OF LIFE

From so many years we have been hearing & experiencing phrases about life. The most relevant of them is the return of what we give. People say that the Newton's third law- "Every action has its equal & opposite reaction" is also applicable to our life, or more appropriately- to our actions in life.

But my view is a BIT different from this. I have observed that sometimes the reaction could be more than the action. This is applicable to both our positive & negative actions/deeds (karmas). Although thermodynamics says that the output cannot be greater than the input but I think differently.

As I already said- the reaction could be more than that, the bad deeds that we do to others could come back to us bringing such harsh consequences that we wouldn't have even imagined. It's all about what you have done to others- just a return!!!

On the other hand- a small act or even thought of kindness/gentleness or caringness could firstly lead to a happy & a contended mind & secondly may give a favorable (or positive) return/reaction/success. See how a small positive act or even thought of goodness can make your life. But the act of kindness with an intention of return is not good- right???

Coming to the spiritual part, the question arises- How all this happens?? Is there any bank that keeps the account of all our deeds or is it a single power, which makes the REACTION??

Well it is still a big question mark (?) but at least we can see the results in our daily life. One thing is for sure – THERE IS A HIGHER POWER. Majorities call it God/goddess, but it is not the fact what we name it. It could be god, it could be goddess, it could be a DEVIL, or it could be simply a power- the power of reaction!! It is all about belief and believe. Even if humans start believing this reaction property in spite of not believing any power, it is enough.

Form of return- It is not important that the reaction is in the same form as that of the action. Common quotation- "The money taken as bribe is spent in buying medicines." The reaction of our bad karmas could be monetary (in terms of money), social or even emotional. Don't make a mistake of setting others as example that – a particular person is successful in spite of being so bad. You may not know if he would be getting it another form or may get it after a period of time. The reaction/result of both positive & negative deeds is confirmed irrespective of time. Best example – "Hard work always pays- it is just about the right time"

ALL the above thoughts take me to two possible conclusions. Firstly, the power of reaction, which could lead to consequences more than the action is absolutely natural. The third law is not fully applicable in the case of human deeds. Moreover "output can't be more than the input" is also not fully satisfied in this particular case.

Secondly, many a times the reaction is not immediate, but the actions are always going on. So, the return of all our positive or negative karmas is given at one go. Sounds like a wholesale deal but could be true.

I am not sure which one of these is true, but at least, you would have understood what I wanted to say!!!
